Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church

 Starting today, Monday, December 8th, 2008, and moving on into the year 2009 by the grace of God, I need the prayers of those I love on the following:

1. I have embarked on a project of writing two books. As you can recall, it's by the grace of God that I am alive today. In June 2008, the doctors discovered a blood clot on my left leg that almost killed me. Since then, my life and priorities changed for ever as I started the reality of living one day at a time! I now want to share with others how the good Lord saved my life and what I have learned in great humility. Besides, for several months now, I have taken time amidst my busy schedule to write some thoughts and share them with God's children. In great humility, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the Lord of the universe for using the articles in touching the lives of many. Since starting to write, I have received very encouraging feed back. Every that I have received such, I have forwarded it to the Lord of the Universe, who alone deserves it. Some have requested that I write a book on such. In response, I now plan to write a 365 page devotional book!

2. The living God used me and some of His faithful children to plan and launch Maranatha SDA church, located @ Hopkins, Minnesota, on April 1, 2006. Since them, I have seen the living God raise and protect the church in many ways, of which I am truly grateful. For the year 2009, we have surrendered all and pleaded with the good Lord to use us to grow Maranatha to 300 faithful and active members and to buy Him a house of worship. Pray that we realize our goal. Furthermore if you can help or know someone who can, then please do so. 3. In May 2008, my autobiography, "Except for the Lord," came out. Those who not only bought the book but also took time to read it through have written to express their appreciation for the book. Again, I want to sincerely thank our God for using my autobiography to touch the lives of many. Pray that the good Lord will continue to use the book to touch many more.
